When uploading custom fonts to your Divi website, you will often come across this security/error message: “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons”?

Ohhh, SO annoying isn’t it?!

However, there IS a solution…

And it’s really quick and easy.

All you have to do is open your cPanel in your WordPress website hosting area.

Locate the File Manager.

Open the wp-config.php file.

Copy this piece of code in just before the end of the file. See the video for the exact location.

define(‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true);

Save file. Keep it OPEN though! We need to go back to it in a minute.

Watch the video…

 Once you have uploaded all the custom fonts you need, return to your wp-config.php file.

Delete the piece of code. DO NOT KEEP THIS IN YOUR FILE!

Save and Close wp-config.php file. Logout of your cPanel.

Happy designing with your new Custom Fonts!
